Hello,

I am in the market for a portable gaming device. I have a PS4 and a gaming PC that has a graphics card that meet the Nvidia Shield's recommendations. I am stuck between the Vita and Nvidia Shield. I like the fact that the Shield is a great device for emulation, but I remember reading about issues with streaming from your PC. Another thing that I like the Shield for are the controls. I have a bit of a problem with the Vita's controls. I know that the Vita has a pretty big library and the Shield has many Android games.

I am leaning towards the Shield, but I am unsure. Is it a pretty powerful device? Does anyone know about streaming? The Vita works well on outside networks, but I don't know if the Shield does, or if it just works on your in home network.

I would appreciate all advice or information that you can provide. Thank you in advance for all help and suggestions.

I would prob say vita. You have to stream to get PC games working on shield i think. I think the only thing shield can do alone is Android games. Basically smartphone games.

Vita is sold at decent price. $200 i think and has PSOne games, PSP games, PS Vita games. To me part of portability means not having internet to stream so you prob want a system that can play the most games independantly and right now it's prob 3ds or vita.
