I changed set up and realised that my PC i built my self was very very very dusty. i decided to clean it. I got a cotton swab and gently throw the fans as i want able to blow out the dust. after i then did the same thing to the graphics card. then this happened and kept happening.

I recorded that myself as it is the best way to show you. what is going on. i fear i might have really just destroyed my PC and i have no money at the moment to get replacement parts

looks like a short. does anything get displayed on the screen?

~if it is a short we can bugtest this and determine what's going on. i don't think you broke it (might be a dead psu, but i don't think you killed the cpu/gpu or motherboard)

I don't know what the problem might be, but the CPU heatsink is packed with dust. You should take it out and clean it.

Ohh I see , Make sure that you connect the CPU Fan to the CPU Fan header not the CHA Fan header

ok.

lets take this step by step.

1) finish cleaning out your system. it's still dusty. Get a can of compressed air and clean it till you see no more dust (might take 2 or 3 cans)

2) unplug every single plug you see. make sure you know where they go. plug each one back in, make sure it's completely plugged in

3) make sure there is nothing metal jingling around in your case like a screw

4) pull out your ram, and put it back in where it came from, make sure it's firmly seated

5) pull out your video card and put it back in, make sure it's firmly seated.

6) clr_cmos

7) boot your pc.

we're not done bug testing yet.

next you're gonna pull everything out of the case it's called breadboarding, because you typically will rest the motherboard on something wood... just pull all the guts out of the system... unplug everything from the board except the psu, ram cpu fan and hard drive. use this as a chance to clean the backside of your motherboard. using a screwdriver or jumper, bridge the start switch on the motherboard and see if your system boots.

If it does not, then pull the power plugs out of the motherboard and hard drive. take a paperclip and bend it into a U, take the 24 pin motherboard power connector psu plug, and stick the paper clip in the plug with the green wire attached, take the other end of the paperclicp and stick it into any of the black wire plugs... see if your psu will start up or not. let us know what happens.
