I've got 4 Acer UM.HS1AA.D01 monitors, which are taking up way too much space on my desk (I actually have a monitor on a separate shelf). I've been looking around and have found a lot of two monitor mounts but not many that support 4 or even 3. I was thinking if possible to have a triple monitor set up then putting the fourth above the middle. Any ideas? I have about $380 to spend on it

Monitor mounts can be pretty expensive (no doubt as you have found) if you get anything decent. Have you considered DIY'ing a solution?
I personally used some steel pipe to make myself a triple monitor stand. Its not perfect, but it cost about 1/3 of what something similar would have been off the shelf and gives me far greater flexibility in what I can do with it. Only tools needed were a drill and a wrench (maybe some means of cutting wood as well if where you buy from doesnt on-site).

I basically coped this guys design when it came to mine, though I ended up needing a 2nd layer of arms as the monitors tended to swivel when there was just the one. For your situation, you could just replace the center T fitting with an X to add your 2nd layer.

I was thinking about maybe doing a DIY stand. But I was hoping to buy one just for the sake of time. If I cant find a stand that's cheap enough and will suit my needs before I buy/build my new PC, then I will just build it.
