Hello gents.

So my dad asked me 3 days ago if i can come over and install him new windows on his old PC i tried with windows 7 and windows 8, 8.1 while in the bios i enabled boot from lan or it said something like that i thought that ment usb if it's not well fuck i put the usb drive in the first place in the boot yet i still got disc error with every try.

This is the mobo http://www.asrock.com/mb/NVIDIA/ALiveNF7G-FullHD%20R3.0/

he has a pretty old system but he only uses it for some music and other things old dads use. I just want to know if it supports boot from usb if that's the case or if anyone knows where i can get a win 7 ultimate x64 iso under 3.6 gb cause i only got 4gb usb and it has 3.63 gb of space.

Thank you

That board should support it.

Often you cant select usb as first device, you need to go into hard drive boot devices, select the usb drive as your primary "hard drive" and then select hard drive as your first boot option.

As far as your windows 7 iso, the only thing we could link you to is the OEM unpirated version of windows 7 which will not be any smaller. You can use a program called nlite to add/remove things from the installation which might let you get down to your required size.
The much much easier solution is to just tell your dad that you doing this for him will cost him the $10 or less for a 8GB flash drive.

Thank you. I wont charge him i have enough money but i never needed USB pens and this one isn't even mine. And the cheapest 8 Gb usb in my country is like around 20€ which i see in is pointless. Thank you i will try to find that hard drive boot devices boot in bios but if you know you can tell me where i can find it.

Thank you.

Dont have to charge him, I just figured that if you are taking the trouble to install windows to his computer the least he could do was buy the drive. Anyways I dont care how you go about it, just saying that buying an 8gb flash drive will be much much easier then trying to shrink your windows image.
