I am planning on buying the 5930k but I don't know if it will be any better than 5770k (When it comes out) So I will just compare the old gen. 4770k vs 4930k?
So which one is best for gaming and editing? (Heavy 3D rendering)

I will be using Dual 290x's.

Build for 5730k:
Corsair RM850, Asus X99-s, Crossfire 290x, Corsair H100i, Crucial DDR4 16GB, 120 GB Samsung 840 EVO

Build for 5770k:
Corsair RM850, MSI Z97 Gaming 7, Crossfire 290x, Corsair H100i, Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer 16GB, 120 GB Samsung 840 EVO

Solution
Do not get the H100i. Get a kraken x41/x61, Nh105, Swiftech H220x, Cooler Master Glacier 240, or practically anything else that beats it.

Also don't get the RM 850, the RM line up is not that good in general.

DONT GET the Cooler Master Glacier. Replace the word "Glacier" with the word "Seidon 240M" and you are set!

Gaming wise (for this gen GPUS because next gen will most likely use more bandwidth) the 5770k will be cheaper and provide similar performance.

Editing wise the 5930k will KILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the 5770k. Most likely more cores clocked higher and generally targeted for editing.

And dual 290x's?! ARE YOU TRYING TO BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN??????????? Hopefully they are watercooled (unlikely as you are using an AIO for the CPU).

Why do you hate Glacier coolers?

Because they are more expensive than the Seidon's and do a worse job.

What stats tell you that they do a worse job? It is the same cooler as the H220 and that (besides the h220x) is the best aio cooler on the market.

That is also not true. The best AIO on the market (as shown in tests by Tom's) is the NZXT Kraken x60 in both cooling and noise. And last I checked Seidons are practically unstoppable (don't leak, don't die, keep stuff freezing cold) and Glaciers are more prone to failure.

They are the exact same price and don't perform any worse (they are actually better).
