So i recently upgrad my pc with an fx 6300 and a mb asus m5a99x rev2 and the system worked fine for a while , but after 2 weeks it start instantly freezing , reseting did nothing after that , becose the pc didnt post at all no beeps nothing , the only way to get it working agen was to shut it down from the psu a couple of times, until i get it to POST. Btw each time it didnt post ther was a red led on the mb flashing and it was either the cpu led or gpu led flashing (most of the times was the cpu). And sometimes after it POST it show me a bios eror cose of overclocking but i haven't overclock it at all!!!!
That continued for a couple of days until one day after a freez it never post agen . Fans are working red cpu led is open no beeps nothing
After searching on the internet and on this forum i decided its mb problen i RMA it back, and thay replaced it but after i assembled the pc agen nothing changed no post no beeps nothing
I have tried loats of things like using difrent ram, psu, gpu, reseting bios ,removing bios battery , flashing bios, tried to get it to work outside of the case, all that in both mbs( the only thing i dont have to test is difrent cpu-mb)
So is it possible that both cpu and md damaged for some reason? And what that reason could be? Or is it possible that it was the cpu all along but thay replaced the mb withut testing?Or its somthing else?
