I need help with port forwarding.
So, I am trying to forward ports so Steam will stop yelling at me on AoE2 HD, but when I do all the port forwarding stuff and check the ports to see if they're open, sites like http://www.canyouseeme.org/ say I have failed. So can you all help?
I have to do some shizz with double forwarding, as my modem (Speedstream 4300) has port forwarding things as well as my router (Netgear Genie, or something like that).
What I have done:
1: log into my modem, and forwarded the ports advised on this page: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=8571-GLVN-8711
2: log into my router and forwarded the same ports to the computer I game on.
should be that simple, right? but when I check these ports on previously mentioned sites, no luck! I am lost and need help.
