hard drive problem.... I think please help

Not sure if the problem is the hard drive but each time its plugged in, the desktop will start up and the fan will speed up, then reset.... And it will proceed to do this... Once I unplug the ssd the PC still start and take me to the bios where it asks me to select a drive but there is Not on in the desktop. Why won't it start up with the ssd in, could it be corrupt? Also it runs when its in as a secondary on another computer but when it is the only one in the other computer it goes instantly to bios... Nonetheless it still starts when is in the other computer. But the computer I wamt it in, it will barely start and then reset over and over again. sorry I'm repeating myself :(

Ah....you're trying to move a drive with an existing OS to another PC, and hoping it boots.
    Often, it does not work.

Reinstall the OS when the drive is in the new PC.
  7. So it causes it to auto reset before it even starts? a brand new ssd should work?
