Hello,

Lately, I have been trying to browse the files on my HTC One from my computer using a USB cable. After plugging it in, though, Windows shows a message saying "device driver software was not successfully installed". I have tried to manually to update the drivers of my phone through the device manager. After searching for a few seconds, it says that my device has the most recent drivers installed. In device manager, the device is listed as an HTC MTP device. I am running Windows 7 64bit. On another computer I have, I was able to plug my phone in and immediately the computer recognized it as an HTC One and successfully installed drivers. Is there a way to fix this problem so that I can view the files on my phone from my own computer? Thank you in advance for your help.
