Cant Decide on Parts

I am selling my laptop to build a new PC and this is the current build I am looking at: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3bGpQ7

Im also in a bit of a pickle. I want to save up for a high end GPU (Maybe a 780 or 780 ti if the price drops when the 800 series comes out, or maybe one of those) so I went with intel because AMD's higher end processors like the 8350 don't have integrated graphics and I don't have the money to buy the 780 with everything else. However, I was also worried that since games are moving toward multi core performance and the 8350 has more, plus the cores would be more of a help with recording, video/image editing and rendering.

I use Adobe products, so would the 780 with GPU acceleration negate the performance drop in the multi core applications?

I am also assuming that even though games are going multi core, the 4690k paired with a 780(maybe ti) or a 800 series card would be more than enough for the far future @1080p 60fps with high-ultra settings while recording footage?
Thanks for your help.

Intel processors are always going to be better than AMD, it's just that AMD are more price-friendly.

looks fine, I'd advise you to get a 780 6gb if you can

1. Your Adobe work will miss the 4790k but that's $100 ...so likely not doable
2. 16 Gb is kinda the starting point for Adobe
3. Is this new or older Adobe Suite ....if not the current one, you will have to "unlock CUDA" to take advantage of it. I believe the 780 Ti is unlocked on the latest (rented one)

4. The 750 watt PSU is wasted.... you'd want 600 for single card, 850 for two and you did choose an SLI board.
$10 more for an 850

$25 less for a 620
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
5. You will have no issue recording footage with ShadowPlay
6. 2133 is usually same price as 1600 ... check prices daily.
7. Better case, same price

9. Best $30 improvement ... if ya get the 620 watt PSU, spend it here
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
10. At 1920 x 1080p, you will receive no benefit from 6GB .... 770 2Gb shows no benefit going from 2 GB to 4 GB ... pay close attention to last paragraph.

11. If budget an issue, no need for an SLI capable board .... if ya want SLI for future, buy the PSU now

Thanks for the great answer.
1: I will get 16gb when I get a little more spare money.
2: I would like SLI to be a potential option in the future.
3:What do you mean my adobe work will miss the 4790k?
4: I use the complete adobe plan that is 50$ a month right now.
5: The 850W PSU is only 80+ bronze...is there a big difference between it and gold? Also, in PC part picker, 2way SLI 780 ti only brings it up to 687...why do I need to go to 850?

3. Adobe Suite likes Hyperthreading
4. I think that supports the 780 / 780 Ti
5. Is electricity cost an issue ?

Gold (90%) is 5% more efficient than bronze (85%) ....assume 50% load average

(425 watts / 0.85 x 1000 watts per kw) x 30 hours per week x $0.10 per kw = $1.50 per week
(425 watts / 0.90 x 1000 watts per kw) x 30 hours per week x $0.10 per kw = $1.46 per week

So the Gold will save you 52 x $0.04 = $2.08 per year .... after 5 years that's $10.40

It wouldnt be too much of a problem but every little bit helps. Even if I dont have hyperthreading, will it effect a lot of performance with gpu accleration enabled with a 780?
