Hey guys, I just made this account (5 secs ago) to ask questions on a PC I'd like to buy.

I've always been a console gamer and recently my parents said I could get a gaming PC. I wanted to build mine and had a good video to follow up with from Jack Frags about a custom built PC that could run BF4 on good settings without motion blur under $600. However my dad doesn't trust me and thinks it's a hassle to have individual warranties and all that stuff.

I've been looking through the internet and I can agree that custom builds are better but I have no choice. I love Battlefield 4 and am using it as a reference to which computer I should get. I want to play high settings and if not maybe a little below, NOT low.

I have a budget of less than $1000 (I will be using the Bill Me Later feature on iBuypower.com)
I think I have found the PC that can handle BF4 pretty well (don't get mad if I'm wrong)

Here's the link: http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/ASUS-M51BC/E/5486702

I configured it and decided not to go with the 2TB hard drive, instead I'll take the 1TB. Please help guys, I have trust in this site as I've seen that most people here are amazing techies on PC's. Thanks!

If you find one's other than this one and under $1000 please list :D

Well the one you posted is not a good choice in my opinion, I don't want to be rude though.

It has 16GB of RAM and a gaming PC will only require 8GB. The R7 will not be able to play on high whereas my 770 will provide a consistent 60+FPS.

Here's the final build.

Is it alright if I posted the specifications if the PC and maybe you could bring to a computer store to build it? This build comes with a monitor if you need one.

Thanks! I'm okay with no monitor so that'll help. Those specs look awesome and so is the price! I'm considering this now, but if all fails would what I posted do what I'd like or is it just not good enough? If I do end up just buying that pre-build I'm going to save money for some of the things you've posted to upgrade. And thanks for the quick reply!

You're not being rude, just honest. I'm new so I still don't know too much. I like your build a lot better, I just don't know if my dad is willing to let me buy separate parts (in case they don't work). Yeah I've heard that you only need 8GB, I do lots of editing so it may come in handy even then it may be too much. What if I was to downgrade memory, and instead get a different better video card like the 770? Is the rest okay for high settings or is the CPU bad? Sorry for all the questions, I just really don't want to screw up. Thanks again!

Forgot to say, I just watched a video from Jack Frags he used a R9 270x, and I see that I have the option to get that, would that work?

Sorry for the late reply kind of busy at the moment. Anyways, if you will be editing, I recommend a 16GB RAM and an i7 for hyper threading. But will it be casual editing or frequent. Will you be gaming more or editing?

And how about buying the separate parts then brining it to a computer store to assemble it.

At the moment I'm more of a casual editor and even my 4GB RAM works fine. I may just go ahead and buy separate parts however I just want to try one more time with this other pre-built.

I'm really doubting it is good enough, I don't seem to fully understand all the terminology but this one was a bit more expensive than the other and I think some of the specs are better. No worries man, we all have things to do, you've responded quicker than any of Xbox Live support.

Do you have any other questions?
