Hey guys I own a macpro 2009 so very old and only has 250 gig I want to give it a mega upgrade. I was thinking about using my 1tb wd ultra external drive and putting it in my mac. But I no there different sizes inside mac is a 2.5 sata 250 gig I'm guessing the wd ultra 1tb is probably a 3.5 ? Any help would be greatly appreciated

The drive should be 2.5" being a passport but the usb interface is integrated intot he drives controller bd.. it has no sata port for your mac to connect to.
