I am about to start building a computer and I recently bought a wireless keyboard and mouse combo from Microsoft. (Wireless 800) A wireless keyboard is going to work best for my setup. But, when first booting the computer and going into the BIOS is this keyboard and mouse going to be able to work? Will I have to buy a wired keyboard too?

Sorry for the noobish question. Thanks for your time.

P.S. - I have a MSI H81M-P33 motherboard if that is needed information.

Ok, but I am talking about before Windows is even installed. Like if I need to change what drive the machine boots from so that I can install windows from the optical drive. Will I be able to do that?

I dont have problems with my wireless, its usually an issue of which port you need to use since the bios has limited usb driver ability. (ie - usb3 ports usually wont work) I tend to only use the rear usb2 ports and whichever ports are closest to where a ps2 keybd/mouse would plug into.

Mine is a basic, non-programmable, keypad (N5902)
