Can't see N network, 24gh network is only option for win 8 tablet.

I've got a Lenovo Yoga 11 tablet/laptop and a Linksys 6200 router. We have two networks set up but this device only lists the 2.4gh network that is much slower. I think it should be able to connect to both so I'm hoping someone will know if that's the case, and if I'm right give me some idea of how to try fixing this.

The network adapter in the laptop is a Broadcom 802.11bgn Wireless SDO adapter.

Wireless "N" does not automatically mean 5Ghz radio. Most laptops will only run at 2.4Ghz networking. Some things to check, do you have WEP or WPA/WPA2 as the encryption? To get faster than 54Mbit you can not use WEP. You should use WPA2 with that router. What link rate are you seeing?
