Hi guys, am new here

i have a question for CPUs...
i know the GHZ on CPUs is not that you must see for selection CPU....
but i don't know why...
AMD FX-4350 is 4.2GHZ (4.3GHZ Turbo) 4 core and FX-6300 is 3.5GHZ (4.1GHZ Turbo) 6 core
what can do more GHZ on games or general ?
And what more can do 6 core in game or general ?
What is better ?
AMD FX-6350 (3.9-4.2GHZ) is much better than the 6300 ?

Thank you...

The FX-6300 will outperform the 4350. The 6300 will also be about $70-80ish dollars sometime in September.

6350 if you can afford it. Actually 8350 if you can afford it. 6350 will out perform the 6300 and 8350 will kill both. Use this website to make good comparisons, it's what i use.

You can easily overclock the the 6300 to the speed of a 6350. You will get a slight benefit with the higher clock speed in CPU heavy games, but if you go for the 6350, consider the 8320.

6300 is fine. Use the savings to get an aftermarket cooler, and if you ever feel like you want a bit more power, give it an overclock.

I would just get the 6300, and then overclock it using an aftermarket cooler (assuming your motherboard supports overclocking).
