System Keeps reseting

Hi, I have an issue, I just put a new mobo (asus 990fx r2.0) in with an fx8350 and I have a gtx 760 to go with it. I've just got it all up and running but when I play BF4 and after I quit the game, the system just cuts off and restarts and windows asks if I want to go into safe mode because of unexpected shut down etc.
Now it only happens after I quit the game not during, I think on one game I did experience a little lag but later games seems to have been fine. I've done this several times and after I quit I get the same result. I haven't had this issue apart from when playing BF4 so far.
I did a little reading and found similar issues and suggestions were that it might be overheating, I haven't overclocked the cpu yet and I monitored it during game play and it stayed up around 60 deg c, is that too high? is it possible it's resetting due to being too hot? Is there any other reasons why this might be happening. I am currently running with the stock cpu fan which came with it but I thought that would be adequate seeming as it's not been overclocked yet.
Any help please many thanks

Solution
The H55 would be better but more expensive and noisy. A compromise solution might be one of the Noctua air coolers.

Download HWInfo and run Sensors. Run a game for a minute then post the results - usually 3 screenshots in TinyPic or similar. It'll tell us how your hardware is running.

Also install the UEFI that came with your motherboard - to verify any unusual results.

What power supply make and model have you got?

Hi thanks for a speedy reply, my build is:

Asus 990fx Sabertooth r2.0
Amd fx-8350
Kingston Hyper x Fury 16gb (2x8gb)
Gigabyte Nvidia GTX760 4gig
Samsung evo 840 250gb SSd
Antec 900 case.

As it stands I haven't overclocked anything yet and the cpu is running with the stock cooler it came with, I want to get this issue resolved first before going any further, would a water cooler solve this do you think?

Many thanks for you reply, any help is much appreciated. Yes it's the stock fan which came with the processor, it appears to be clean and working fine, it is brand new. I will have a little look to ensure it is speeding up next time I play a game but I'm sure it is as the sensor says so, perhaps I will crack open the side just to ensure it is.

Hate to be cheaky and ask another question but the coolermaster Hyper 212 evo looks good but I was wondering if the corsair h55 would do the job or would you recommend sticking with the 212 evo? Is it worth noting that the Mobo came without a disc but I've downloaded new bios and chipset etc, and windows 7 seems to have done the rest of the work as the asus utilities recons it's up to date, am I missing something?

just to note I played dead space 3 this time and I had exactly the same effect as BF4, I played for a while and the quit the game, and then about 30-60 seconds later the pc just reset with out warning and came back to the screen asking if I wanted to restart in safe mode or normal?

So far it seems that this only happens after playing a game, not during and not whilst doing anything else.

Any way apologies for the long winded noob questions :(

Hi, many thanks for the reply. I went through the event logs on my computer and there wasn't anything on there just the report on start up of it saying it hadn't shut down properly, this led me to suspect my psu, I've since bought a new one and it all appears to be fine now. I hope that someone might learn from my experience and I really appreciate the advice you've given me, I'm going to follow your advise re: cooling. Many thanks
