i have my i7 4790k stable @ 4.7ghz if i update my bios to the latest version should i stress test my cpu again ?

i have a i7 4790k stable @ 4.7ghz i stress tested using occt for 10 hours and my cpu is stable . my motherboard is a msi z97 gaming 7 and i am using bios version 1.4 . i just found out that there is a newer bios version 1.5 . if i update my bios to 1.5 should i stress test my cpu again ?

I would. Any time you make a major change like a BIOS update, you'll want to verify that your OC settings are still appropriate.

Anytime you update the BIOS, it will revert to its default settings anyway. But why update the BIOS? Is there a reason you need to?
These are the only updates indicated:
- Improved VGA compatibility.
- Improved PS/2 keyboard compatibility.
- Enhanced EIST function when use non turbo boost CPU.
- Enhanced G3258 compatibility.

Unless you are using the integrated video, a PS/2 keyboard, or a G3258 dual core Pentium, there's really no benefit to you.

Check to see what features this BIOS 1.5 update provides. You may find you don't need them. I agree with the "if it aint broke dont try and fix it" mentality.

Only update the BIOS if you really NEED to. Not just because its available.

Don`t update your BIOS, instead wipe your a** and smile because you get your stable clocks and it is awesome. :)
