Hey guys. i'm 16 years old and spent my whole summer working my tail off to afford my computer. It'll be around $850 in total so a bit of a budget build but enough to pack a punch with everyday browsing and playing steam games.
The main purpose of this build is to play steam games like CSGO and stream via Elgato on my Xbox 360.

The current configuration has a FX 6300(99$) and a 128gb Adata(budget) $75 SSD.
Should I use that 75$ elsewhere like putting it towards a FX 8350? (170$)

Stick with the FX 6300 and SSD? Or upgrade to the 8350.

Please remember im looking for everyday performance. Ill be skyping, streaming, and playing at the same time. Another thing I could possibly do is in 2-3 weeks, buy the SSD but windows swapping and such is a pain.

Graphics is a Sapphire R9 280 3gb if youre wondering.

Please help, Thanks in advanced.

You need a new drive, The laptop drive would cause a bottle neck in one of the last places you want it.
The laptop drives have much slower read/write speeds due to a lower rotational speed which is a way that laptop drives have lower power consumption. The laptop drive is way slower than even the cheapest modern sata hard drives.

How much of a pain in the back is transferring windows? I can buy an SSD in 2 weeks when I get my paycheck.
But I was thinking the same thing, the one thing I didn't think about though was buying a cooler because the 8350 runs hot.

Put the cash toward the 8350.
SSD can be added later. If you want to rpep for it then just create a 100gb partition on the HDD to install windows to (this will be C: drive) and then partition the remainder of the HDD for your games/programs (this will be D: drive) . Then when you do get an ssd, its as easy as cloning C: over to it and making the SSD the main boot drive. The D: can stay the D: drive so no programs will be affected. You may need to disable the old C: drive in disk management and reletter the games partition.

Sorry to keep going with this, but I found my laptops old 750GB hard drive in a drawer. I know I cant use the windows on it but itd like to save some of the files, is it possible to just use this HD instead of spending 60$ on a new one? (60$ savings would be used on a cooler)
