There is only one fan connector on my msi motherboard, and my case has 2 fans. Is it okay to run my computer with only one fan? And which fan should I use? I don't want to create any fires or anything!

Sorry if I posted in the wrong section, I am new to the forums :D

Solution
Get a Y splitter. You need at least 1 header for your CPU fan and at least an exhaust fan for the case itself.

Pretty much all fans can connect to either the motherboard or directly to the PSU. Connect the second one to the PSU. The only benefit of the motherboard is that you can regulate its speeds. Connected to the PSU runs at 100% always. A different usually 5-pin cable is used for connecting the fan to the cable coming from the PSU.
