Okay, I have an HP Pavillion Dv6 and so far, it runs games kind of playable, but still REALLY crappy. Is there ANY way that i could upgrade to a different graphics card, or make some sort of change for better with the current intel hd graphics 3000? Thanks for any help. It has an Intel Core i5 (2nd gen i think) and there is no option to apply more GPU memory in the BIOS.

Which particular version of the DV6 do you have? Should say on a data sticker or plate on the bottom of your case. With most laptops, upgrading the GPU means replacing the whole motherboard and can be problematic to get running right.

I looked at the sticker on the bottom and did not find exactly what model it is. i found some things, like "HP (barcode) 584037-001" and a product key if that helps. i went to msinfo32 also and all it said was that it was an "HPDV6LAPTOP." I didnt find exactly what it was though. Do you want a list of detailed specs?
