Note: No changes were made to voltage. Only Core clock and Memory Clock are used.

For the first time, I overclocked my MSI R9 270X by changing the clock values thru MSI afterburner (Not much, just added 5 to each) and my computer crashed. When I did the same thing through AMD overdrive (in catalyst control center), the system didn't crash. The overclock values worked efficiently even after 1 hour stress test. With the same overdrive, I, then achieved the following values -

Core clock: 1155 MHz (Stock: 1080)

Memory Clock: 1405 MHz (Stock: 1400)

When I applied the same thru MSI afterburner, the system crashed again. Apparently, it has become incompatible for my machine. Is it just because I have Intel processor? Because, MSI GAMING APP didn't work as it requires AMD processor. I believe it would be the same condition for afterburner too. Is it right? What's your opinion/suggestion/comment?

Thanks in beforehand.
