I have decided its time to rebuild my system and along with that I am adding another ssd and hdd changing my cpu cooler from a waterblock in my custom loop to a closed off prebuilt cooler getting a smalled case and changing to windows 8 I finished to reinstall yesterday but when I went to power on nothing happened the standby light comes on and after pressing the on button the on/off and reset lights come on but not beep sound and nothing turns on I have tested the psu by hot wiring and it turns on not sure what to try next. The motherboard is a asus p8z68vprogen3 running a i5 2500k with a hd7970 gpu
