Router: http://www.netgear.com/home/products/net...

The router I currently have is connected to my old router (The guy at Fry's told me to do it) and my computer is connected to it wirelessly. Not positive if this maybe the problem. My internet lasts around 30 minutes or so, then, it wont let me do anything internet related. (google, skype, ect..) When I go to check my internet when it stops working, it shows that it's still connected. Please help :) (I dont know much about networking and computers, so go easy on me ) Thanks

You could try logging on to the router and check if parental controls profile is set for a 30 min timeout.
For most NETGEAR devices, except ReadyNAS products and Fully Managed Switches, the following are default the username and password :
Username = admin
Password = password
( For older devices, Password = 1234 )
To login to your NETGEAR router administration interface, open the following URL using your web browser -
http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com

Or reset{ To reset your router to factory defaults, use a pen or paperclip to press and hold the Reset button for approximately 10 seconds until the Test light blinks. Release the button and wait for the router to...

Or it could be a windows "power saving" setting. (all I could think of to check)

If all that is good your internet provider service is booting you off, or too many devices are using the router at once.
