yes i know its an "H"97 but i while ago it was announced that asus added oc support to their non z motherboard does anyone know if this one was included "i really love the specs and i would rather give up a k cpu and get a xeon cuz i love the specs of this motherboard and price tag
and as it supports x.m.p can i put 2400mhz ram and get 2400mhz ? (its cl10 so and only 5 euro more expensive than 1600 cl9 and its 1.5v )

Haswell refresh means the latest version of Haswell based porocessors like Core i5 4690k etc, prior version of that was Core i5 4670k. It makes no implication on overclocking. Check http://www.tomshardware.com/news/asus-overclocking-h87-h97-b85,27076.html, they do not give specific models so one would assume that all motherboards made by Asus having those chipsets mentioned would have support for overclocking through multiplier (with proper cpu ofc).
