I`m going to build a gaming pc. And after some quick research and browsing I have come over these components:

(graphics) MSI GeForce GTX 780 Gaming 3GB PhysX "Twin Frozr IV"

(case) NZXT Phantom Big Tower PHAN-001WT

(cpu)
INTEL CORE I5 4690K 3.5GHZ 6MB S-1150 HRF

(cpu cooling) Noctua NH-D14 CPU Kjøler

(ram) CORSAIR 8GB DDR3 XMS3 VENGEANCE PC3-12800 (more?)

(mobo) GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-GAMING 7 Z97 S-1150 ATX HRF

(psu) XFX ProSeries XXX Edition 850W PSU

(ssd) SAMSUNG 840 EVO 250GB SATA SSD

(hdd) SEAGATE DESKTOP HDD 3TB 7200RPM

(monitor) BENQ GW2750HM 27" WIDE TFT LED BLACK

(keyboard) STEELSERIES APEX KEYBOARD

(mouse) Mad Catz R.A.T.TE

I think I`m going to overclock; unless its very difficult

That build should work just fine and as for whether the PSU is big enough, it will be unless you decide to put a second GPU in SLI in the future

In general your setup seems good, that psu will be plenty for a single gpu setup with some headroom for overclocking. CPU cooler you have shown is ok, but if you are overclocking (like you say) I'd go for a better cooler. Noctua NH-D14 is one of the best cpu coolers, although a bit pricey though.

This PSU is currently ca 30 usd cheaper than the 650w I have currently selected. Will having to much W hurt my system?

If your computer uses less than 20% of the powesupplys rated wattage when idle it might cause it to use more power due to the power supply having worse efficiency at that low wattages. But otherwise it should not cause any problems. Also that psu is powerfull enough if you later decide that you want to buy another gfx card of the same type to run it in SLI.
