compatible graphics card

I want to upgrade my computer's graphics card and I don't know what I should buy. I want it to be compatible and better. How can I tell if it is compatible?

Here are the properties (This computer is a Acer model 5733z-4477)

6 cell Li-ion battery
Intel HD graphics
4 gb ram

generally laptop graphics card can not be up-gradable ....
you have to change your motherboard if you want a graphic card !

so try to find out a USB graphic card :)

USB bandwidth is way to low to provide any decent graphics, it would be a waste of your money.

It means that data moves too slowly over the USB connection to move the amount of data that is required for fast graphics.

Your USB port is a very slow connection and buying anything external that uses it for graphics would be a waste of your money.

If you want faster graphics that would be the choice. If you can use that laptop for mobile activity, buy a desktop machine with much better graphics at a lower price. That would also allow easy graphic card upgrades over time.
