Hi, My build was originally this:
PSU: Corsair RM650
MOBO: gigabyte z97x gaming 5
CPU: i7 4790k
RAM: 8gb (2x4gb) 2133mhz cas 9 g.skill ripjaws x ram
COOLER: Noctua nhd14
GRAPHICS: Gigabyte gtx 770 oc 2gb
WIFI: TPLink N900 pciex1 wireless card
PCPartpicker estimated wattage: 433 watts
Graphics card recommended wattage: 600 watts
Now I have stripped down the build to:
Intel stock cooler
1 stick of the ram in slot 1
intel i7 4790k
gigabyte z97x gaming 5
corsair rm650
The process is:
I press power button
PSU clicks
1-2 seconds of fans spinning, then it shuts down and power supply clicks
PSU clicks, 15 seconds-ish of fans spinning, single beep, then it shuts down with power supply clicks
Repeat above
Does anyone know what is going wrong?
I am currently trying to reset CMOS, I removed the battery and will keep it out for an hour, report back if thats the problem
Help will be greatly appreciated, this is my first build and I am clueless, even after hours of research!
