So I have a HD 7950 and this morning when I turned my PC on everything has a purple tint to it and I am getting no audio through the HDMI. I have had this card for about 2 years so I'm guessing it's just the card going bad but before I order a new one I thought I would come here and see if anyone has any ideas. Everything else is working good and my headphones through the mobo still have audio. I have ran this GPU at stock clocks 99% of the time it's been used so IDK what's up...2 years seems a little short for a $300 product

AMD FX-8350
Gigabyte HD 7950 WF3 3GB
Biostar TA990FXE
Corsair 650W
8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz

More about : display color bad audio

I guess you already tried re-installing the GPU driver package from Gigabyte?

Yeah I tried reinstalling the drivers, re-seating the GPU, and everything else I could think of. I fixed it and I'm kind of embarrassed to say that the problem was a bad HDMI cord. At least I figured it out before I spent $400 on a new GPU, the wife will be happy about that one
