MSI offerings for the X99 look to be very competitively priced and yet strongly aligned to features.

At the same time even as recently as a year or two ago I went touch them due to component choice, BIOS issues, and worse than average driver support.

Have they changed enough that we can feel ok betting the next 3 to 5 year pc build on an MSI foundation?

In case it matters, going 5930 at stock speeds, GTX 780 primary with a 460 dedicated to PhysX. PCI-E 1TB RevoDrive, SB ZxR. I game and do CAD with Alibre, plus Sony Media Studio based content creation.

from a few people that own MSi GPUs i saw that fan blades came of mostly they have fan problems didnt see any other problems with this brand of GPUs

I have an MSI Z87 mobo which has served me faithfully for the past year. OC's to 4.6 GHz easily.

MSI Tech Support is also very good.

I see it this way. MSI makes some great gfx cards and Intel chipset mobos. However, their reputation has really suffered because of the crappy AMD chipset mobos that they try to get the public to buy. MSI 970FX boards are mostly all crap, and I would never have one nor recommend one.
