Hello,

I installed Windows yesterday on my Cyperpower Xplorer X6-7400 and my laptop does not recognize my Motorolla NVG510 router. The internet connection map shows a red X from on the line between Windows and Internet, and has no recognition of the router at all. Any suggestions?

Thank you

Isaac

What version of Windows? Did you install the laptop's adapter driver after the Windows install?

Have you tried wired, wireless, or both?

If you look in the device manager do you see the Ethernet and or wireless adapter and does it say that it is working properly? Have you configured the adapter to automatically obtain an IP address from the router or use a static address in the router network range? You are sure that the cable is okay if you have tried a cable connection? If you type ipconfig in the command prompt what IP address does it list for the Ethernet adapter and or wireless adapter?
