Hello, I recently bought a prebuilt PC with integrated graphics. I also recently bought myself an Nvidia GTX 750Ti OC edition graphics card to replace the integrated graphics as it was limiting performance on demanding games. It displays a green light when there is power and the fans are on, albeit there is no signal to the monitor when I connect the VGA cable to it.

Btw I am a total noob, hence why I bought a prebuilt instead of building my own, so please excuse any mistakes I make.

My current processor is an AMD A8-5600K APU with Radeon™ HD Graphics and my motherboard is Gigabyte GA-F2A55M-HD. It has a 4 pin power connector while the GTX 750Ti has a 6 pin power connector, but I bought a 6 pin adapter to solve this issue. This problem is frustrating as there is little to no help whatsoever anywhere, though most forums I've seen are telling me to reset the BIOs using the CMOS battery, which I have tried.

I have also tried to install the drivers, but to no avail, I constantly get the error message "please install VGA cards of ASUS".

I'm currently unaware of any other graphics cards in my household I can use.

I'm unsure of whether the card is incompatible with any of the other parts in my PC or whether it's something in relation to the 6 pin adapter I bought, but any help at all is appreciated. Thanks
