Right guys, I'm new to all this, and I'm trying to build my first PC. I would really appreciate someone to just take a quick look at my build on PCPartPicker, and give me some feedback. I can't really spend much more, but if there's something I desperately need I'd welcome the advice. It's going to be for gaming; I'm not looking for 4K ultra quality, I just want to be able to run 60FPS at a decent quality. Things I'm mainly unsure about is case (do I need a full tower or will a mid tower do?), mobo (I have no ideas of OC'ing but I would like to keep the PC for probably about 5 years) and cooler. Thanks in advance.

You don't need an i7 for gaming, a 4690k would be enough for years to come.

Get a Z97 board as Z87 would require a BIOS update and with Z97 you can upgrade to 5th gen in the future (if you wish to).

Include a SSD as it'll reduce boot and loading times.

I included a better Full tower with more cable management and good airflow, but if that was your personal preferance, you can always switch back.
