so i ordered this mobo which should arrive monday, i was looking through the drivers on the site and noticed there is loads of stuff to download so if anyone here could tell me what to download and what not to

Yes , I missed it the USB 3.0.

but why not rapid start and vga onboard etc? and as what i see there is 2 chipset drivers

If your going to use those go ahead , I use a card not onboard VGA.
