Corsair Dominator is really overpriced. All you get from Dominator over say, G.Skill TridentX is fancy heatsinks and optional LEDs.

For my own high-end build/upgrade I'm going with these: http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-2400c10d-16gtx

Did you consider the 1866 Vengeance pro?

The timings and voltage are identical to the dominator platinum's and they are significantly cheaper...

You're system seems to be a pretty high end build so i would recommend you max that sucker out buddy. Go no lower than 1866 memory and i'd recommend G.skill Ripjaws X series. I have G.skill Ripjaws x series 2133 in my build but I had to set it up from auto to DOCP profile (AMD) in my BIOS since my mobo states 2133(O.C.). Intel systems use XMP profile to auto optimize ram that can only be achieved when motherboard states, example: 2133(O.C.)
Sorry if i'm not being very clear due to being new to all this but it worked for me so I can only assume it will work for you if you follow the proper steps in the BIOS

I use 1866/9 as entry level, but a lot will depend on what you do, if much video, imaging, CAD, multi-tasking, VMs, etc...anything on that order will prob be happier with 2133/9 or even 2400/10 especially with pricing today...
