Hi there,

I want to know if anyone can help me with a graphics card issue. I currently have a Dell Inspiron 620 which has a built in Intel(R) HD Graphics i believe. Is there anyway I could buy a new graphics card to install to the motherboard and have that one be used as the main graphics card to enable me to play high graphic straining games like CS:GO?

When you install an add-on graphics card, the built-in one is automatically disabled to avoid resource conflicts.
Therefore, your add-on graphics card will always be used exclusively because the built-in one will no longer be detected.

In effect, the built-in Intel GPU will cease to exist until you remove the add-on card.

Hope that answers your question.
