I'm building a new comp cause my wife is taking control of my current build. So i plan on maxing out bf4 and upcoming games with my triple monitor setup, because right now my sli 580's are not cutting it. http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/xcLMMp , if you guys have any recommendations it would be appreciated. I was thinking of maybe taking 780's 6gb for the vram, would that make any difference? thanks for the help guys

Solution
Yes, get the gtx 780 6GB instead, 3GB isn't enough for maxing out games of today.

Or, you could go amd and get a pair of radeon 4GB r9 290Xes.
Hello, nice build and will definately max out any game on Tri FHD. No need to go with 6GB VRAM, it'll not make a considerable difference. A well balanced and powerful build, no improvements required IMO, you chose the GPUs right (or maybe go with R9 290X 4GB CF), the PSU right, the memory right, good case and brilliant cooler as well, good job! :)

problem with 3GB over 6GB is that when you max out the game there will be stuttering because the vram will be maxed out. So the fps will be fine but latency and stutter will be a problem.

I agree, 3GB VRAM will suffocate the card working on 2 displays. But then, 780 will not be able to utilize 6GB performance wise. The best option IMO will be to get 2 R9 290Xes in CF, the VRAM would be fine and the performance remains more or less the same as 780 Ti SLI and better than 780 6GB SLI.

Or he can go all-pro with a single R9 295X2 8GB beast. It's R9 290Xes in CF from the factory, but insanely expensive.
