Hello there, today i got my new card and the nightmare started.

I installed the card and its drivers without any problem, everything were running smoothly.
Then i went to the official asus site to download gpu tweak, there i saw some vbios update for the card,it was saying it fixes some error so i decided to install it,a when i was installing something happened to the monitor and it froze.i waited 5 minutes and restarted pc,after that monitor never opened again and there was no beep sound when starting pc. I tried everything, puted it on different slot, removed my rams etc etc nothing.
Then i tried with my old card and pc started with no problems.
Did i destroyed my card with that update ? And why would they put something than can do such thing anyways ?
Is there any way to save the card ?
Any help would be really appreciated

Any time you do a bios or vbios update it's a bad idea to EVER turn the computer off. Most times it will cause you to end up with what we call a "brick". In fact this is exactly the reason the phrase was coined. Updates can sometimes take more time. If you can install and run with the old card in the primary PCI slot and the bricked card in the secondary PCI slot you might be able to redo the update to the other card that way. Make sure you point the update the correct card. I'm not positive this will work but it's possible. You might want to go into device manager after you boot into windows and see if the hardware is even being detected otherwise it probably won't work.
