Hello,

I have a RadeonHD 7950 GPU and this is where the problem is.

But first the Small Talk:

Windows 7 Ultimate x64
asrock z77 Pro 3 Motherboard
700watt PSU

So the computer works fine plugged into the onboard intel hd 4000 using hdmi to a panasonic tv brilliant.

Plug in the graphics card with two 6pin supplies hdmi in right turn on tv and computer, Push the power button tv screen gains a little lightness against the black background shows up input 1080p hdmi 3 and thats all i get. i know the omputer has started correctly because if i press the power button it shuts down so thats how i know its booted to the desktop correctly, Disabling the onbaord graphics doesnt work, no option in bios to change which to boot from. But now for even more confusion this has happened before when i first got the card clean install of windows and all installs from mobo disk the first time i reset bios no luck on off on off and for some reason it just started working and worked ever since until now i have lean installed windows again but no luck with it just starting to work, Anyone any ideas?

p.s I have leaned terminals etc its almost like the tv is detecting it but there is no picture coming out also if i have the card plugged in the onboard gpu if plugged into doesnt work either i have to take out the card for the onboard to work again

Oh and also when it was working i wouldnt get any bios screen when booting it would come on with the windows logon screen only however the onboard would show bios screen,

Thanks Ben

BTW THE BUTTON LEFT OF V DOESN'T WORK IF YOU WONDERED WHY I MISSED SO MANY OF THEM OUT :)

You do realize LED TV settings and PC monitor settings may have different refresh rates and type of sources they used and you need to configure the settings before you can make it compatible. Some HDTV's are jot plug-n-play and see a screen, there is a reason why AMD catalyst provided a configuration setting under "display panel -> HDTV support". Go there and configure the resolution and refresh rates.
