Hi, I'm planning to upgrade my gaming PC and was wondering what to do. I have came up with some option s and would appreciate some advise on which to choose, currently I have this:
PC Specs:
RAM: 4GB DDR 3
GPU: ASUS GTX 760
CPU: AMD FX4100 Bulldozer Quad Core 4x3,6GH
MOBO: ASUS (unsure of specifics but max 4gb ram and 1 GPU slot)
Here are the options, I want to spend around £300 but can go higher to around £450 if required.
1.New CPU (i5 or i7)+8GB ram+New mobo
2.Second gtx 760 sli+8GB ram+New mobo
3.Any other ideas appreciated.
Thanks for the help.

Option one is the best option you have.
SLI would be bottleneck by the 4100, and upgrading the motherboard to another AM3+ is fairly pointless.

A 4690k and a nice Z97 board (ASUS Z97-A) with 8GB of ram will give you a good performance upgrade, as well as a much better upgrade path.
