2 6 pin to 8 pin adapter

i bought an asus gtx 760 but it came with an adapter 2 6 pin to 8 pin, do i need to use it? my psu is a corsair cx 600 with 2 6+2 pcie connectors

No, you only need to use it if your PSU doesn't have the adequate connectors.

I meant that you only need to use it if your PSU doesn't have an 8-pin connector. A 6+2-pin connector can be used as an 8-pin connector, so you don't need the adapter.
