Hey just finish building new rig and was wondering what size psu I needed.
My system specs are asus p8z77 mini itx board, intel i5 3470, 8gigs of ram, samsung 840 evo 250 gig ssd, 2 4 tb wd green hdd, corsair h100i CPU cooler and a gtx 650 which I got on clearance for 70 bucks and will most likely upgrade. I'm currently using a 430 watt psu from old computer and if you guys have any other suggestions for this build will be highly appreciated as this is only my second build.

You need to consider everything connected inside and outside the box including USB devices. Asus has a calculator.

For some strange reason I can't add this to cart. Seems like a real good deal too

This PSU is WAAAY overkill, but for the price you'd be crazy not to get it. Extremely high quality PSU.

Damn, just checked again, and it is out of stock. That was a great deal.

The GPU is really the deciding factor on how many watts/amps your PSU needs. I just noticed you mention you'll be upgrading your GPU soon so it's difficult to suggest a PSU. A 650W will cover you for any single GPU though.

This one would be a decent buy

The XFX is superior to the CX600. The CX is great for entry level systems, but the XFX is designed with high end gaming systems in mind. It is made by Seasonic, one of the top PSU makers in the industry.

As for the ram, it depends on how much video editing for example. For gaming, 8Gb is the perfect amount.
