Upgrading to the new Haswell-e cores, I have a corsair h110 CPU cooler, will it work with the new 2011-3 socket? I know it works with the 2011 socket but I'm not sure if the difference between 2011 and 2011-3 would prevent me from installing my Corsair H110.

Funnily enough I answered this same question about an H100i just the other day. :)  I'll tell you the same I told them.

This thread suggests that the LGA 2011, and LGA 2011-3 socket are physically the same size where dimensions are concerned. I can presume since there's no significant changes in size, only functionality, that a cooler designed for LGA 2011 should fit just fine.

If this were not the case you'd probably see a flood of LGA 2011-3 compatible coolers hit the market by now. The old 2011 socket CPUs didn't ship with stock coolers, so I can't imagine the new 2011-3 socket CPUs will either.

On paper an H110 will do just fine.

Just a quick update, the Corsair H110 does work with LGA 2011-3 socket, just make sure you follow the same directions as if you had a 2011 socket.
