So I just finished building a new PC and am having trouble getting something how I want it to work. On my desk where my PC is, I run a dual monitor setup and use a USB headset. However, I also have an HDMI routed through the wall to my living room TV.

Windows 7 only gives me the option to run them simultaneously as separate displays, or to have them mirror each other.

What I'd like to do is have both monitors, the headset, and the TV plugged in at the same time, but be able to easily control when they are enabled. I'd prefer to have two profiles. One where my dual monitors on my desk are my only displays, with my audio coming from my headset, and nothing going to the TV. And another where my TV becomes the main display(where games launch to/programs open/has taskbar), the other two monitors are disabled, and sound is routed to the TV instead of the headset.

I see a few multi-monitor programs out there, but, as far as I can tell, most of their features involve extending the taskbar across all your screens, and setting different wallpapers.

Is anyone familiar with some software or command prompts that I can use to achieve what I'm trying to do?

Thank you in advance for any and all advice you can offer.

The display ports on the motherboard won't be available for use even if they are capable of a crossfire or SLI type setup. The primary card will be the only one's available. Just like in a crossfire or sli setup only the primary card is available and the other card is used for computations only. And, in most cases, the integrated graphics won't allow that type of setup and therefore won't even be enabled at all.

Ok, that's fine. All 3 displays are connected to the GPU right now anyways. Just trying to find a way to easily switch between Dual monitors and the TV being the main display, and disabling the ones not currently in use.

Interesting, I'll give it a shot, looks like it might be able to do it. Thanks
