Save the money and spend it on a GTX 780, you will still be able to play on 70+FPS. Heck even with my GTX 580 im able to play BF3 at an average 80 FPS on Ultra. I've been rocking the GTX 580 for 4 years, and haven't run into any problems, except just some dust build up which is easy to clean. Im sure a GTX 780 could last for at least 5 years

GTX 780 ti is a graphics card that will give you ulta settings on all games. This meaning its future proof making it good for long time.

But because Nvidia is bringing out more GPU next month i would reccommend for you to wait as the prices will go down and you could even get a titan which will last you even longer time and its even more powerfull.

I would recommend an EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Classified K|NGP|N Edition. That thing comes with an overload of gaming performance and a reasonably high clock rate at 1072MHz. This will last you quite a while and will only cost you £500.

It can suck up to 450 watts of power at its highest times, so you know this thing is hardcore! Or you could wait a little while for the 800 series and watch the 700 series drop in price.

I don't think there is a K|NG|N 780. There is a Superclocked 780 6GB edition instead of the Overclocked edition on the other side.
