Can i run battlefield 4 on high with these pc specs??

Hey guys

Need help urgently please

I am upgrading soon, i have been advised by friends to get an i5 cpu, but its a out of my price range, I am probably going to go AMD as I have used AMD throughout the years.

I will be getting a AMD A8 6600K Quad core 3.9GHZ APU
8 gig DDR3 Crucial ballistic 1866MHZ Ram
Radeon R7 260X gpu

Will i be able to run Battlefield 4 and Arma 3 smoothly on this set up, meaning on high settings with good frame rate?

Personally I would go with the FX 6300 and a R9 270X

Hello,

if you are planing to use the PC for gaming don't make the mistake to buy AMD APU. You'll be much better off buying an FX CPU if you are on budget or even better go Intel if you can afford it. APUs are like a CPU and a GPU in one of which neither part is particularly good. It's more suited for some media PC or office PC if you like, but not very good for modern gaming.

If you give us a budget we can help you choosing what parts to pick.

Thanks for the response guys, My budget is between R5500 to R6000, south african Rand(ZAR) i was also looking at the FX 6300 six core, will that be a better option with the Radeon R7 260X gpu? Oh and i will be using my current 600 watt PSU
