Using 3rd party Nvidia 3d glasses (active shutter) with Nvidia 3d vision?

Hello community :D This is my first post, so sorry if it's not where it belongs :/

So, a while back I got some active shutter 3d glasses to use with my GTX 660 Ti with 3d Vision. They weren't from Nvidia, but I got them for a really good price. So when I got them, they didn't work at first. After researching a little bit, I slightly recall reading somewhere that Nvidia released a patch or update that doesn't let you use those. However, I do remember downloading an old patch (306.23 WHQL I believe) which made it work like a charm. So after a while I eventually managed to get my hands on a GTX 780, and gave the 660 Ti to my brother.

Not so surprisingly, I faced the same issue that I once did back with my GTX 660 Ti. The only problem is that the update that I used back then was released in 2012, and my graphics card is not supported by it.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Any way to make that old upgrade work with my GTX 780, or to make those 3rd party glasses work with my machine?

Thanks guys...

Solution
Most likely not. As NVIDIA updates their 3D Vision drivers to improve 3D performance, I'm sure they identified that eventually other active shutter lenses would not perform identically as theirs (or they just want to not have to support compatibility with other manufacturers) and thus patched that out. Your best bet is to find a pair of the glasses individually. Occasionally you can find them on Ebay for around $40.

dude xpand x103 will work on nvidia 3dvision monitors . Usb transmitter is good and perfect working . And it's nvidia 3dvision kit 2 is worst because it's just spreading ghosting effect in 129$ item . When u will get 25$ to 50$ 3dparty shutter without ghosting effect and nvidia is using old technology in 3dvision kit 2. See any DLp link 3d projectors infact they are totally evil of customers . Not giving good solutions even ghosting effect issue is still there from 2 years from beginning of 3dvision kit pro ( 1st time 3dvision kit) . Not solved so it is not solved after it . Because there is n o way to solve it old shutter tech.
