Hello. I have recently decided to build my first gaming PC. First off, if you're into games, you'll know what I mean when I say I don't need one to run Crysis 3 or BF4. Here are the things I want it to run PERFECTLY:

Minecraft (launchers, shaders, recording, HD Texture packs)

Adobe Programs (photoshop, illustrator, etc.)

League of Legends

World of Warcraft

Sid Meier's Civilization V

Sims 4

YouTube streaming

Also, music/video editing and creating

And I want to have room for future games coming out. I'm not all into Crysis and BF4 and those massive games. Just the listed ones.

I'm looking to spend around $600. Maybe a little over at tops.

Please help with the parts list. Don't worry about peripherals. Thanks for the help!!!!

For $600 I don't think it will run photoshop/music and video editing "perfectly." But this will run those games very well (at moderate settings, depending on the game) Sims 4 will be hard to gauge as it isnt out yet, and EA could very well f-it up by doing a shoddy job of optimizing it.

$600 is a bit of deadzone, where it's not much better than 500, and not enough for 700-800.

Admirable

For just a little more, he can get the R9 270x. It will run games better than the GTX 650.

Buying an R9 series GPU will get you 3 free games as well. So it's a really good combo!

You're in a tough spot here. On that budget, Adobe programs, editing, and streaming will run better on an AMD FX-6300.
However, all the games you listed actually run better on an i3.

You're running very opposite tasks that require different sorts of performance.
