No more system restores?

I changed the resolution in game and ctd. Couldn't find save file location to delete config setting, checked developer forum and others have same issue but the file location is not provided.

Game is Legend of Patton. I did a system restore and that worked. So I try to change resolution again, ctd. This time my system restore date is gone, I can't restore prior to the game installation anymore. Is there a way to go back when the dates are not listed on the sys restore? I checked all of the usual save file locations and another poster on the games forum did as well and couldn't find it. I did a file search and went through dozens of lines but couldn't find it. Deleting the game and reinstalling does not clear the resolution that I assume is a file in an unknown location that I can't delete. I even looked in the registry.

Solution
The space available in which to store restore points is limited to the amount of drive space that is currently assigned to System Restore (the amount is user configurable). When that limit is reached, Windows deletes restore points (starting with the oldest one) to make room for new ones.

I know of no method to retrieve the deleted restore points.

That's why creating a hard drive image is superior to System Restore, because that image will always be available to you no matter how old it gets (barring failure of the drive where the image is stored).
