I want to get this monitor

With that being said i have two questions.
1. Is this a good monitor for gaming, I'm an average gamer so I don't really need more than a 60hz and i believe that the color contrast is goo too.
2. Should i purchase it from newegg being that it is refurbished? I could also get it from best but for 199.99
