hey guys,

i got a i7 4790k and a h110 to cool it. i have my noctua nf-a14 pwm fans in a push configuration and after about 10 min of prime95 my core max temps were 71,69,69,63. the whole test my cpu ran at its turbo speed of 4.4ghz. do you think i have room to oc my cpu? also any ideas why that one core was fairly colder, just a better contact with thermal paste and the water block maybe?

just an update i restarted my computer and then my idle temp went from 30 degrees to 42 degrees..... then i ran prime95 and i hit 85 degrees after like 10 min where i then shut down my computer to stop damage. any ideas why this happened?

What's youre vcore at? that's what defines room. temp/vcore. If youre vcore is to high no, if it's at a reasonable level sure. However 10 min of prime 95 is nothing. Run it for several hours, that's how you test stability. Ten minutes and it's just getting warmed up.
